Predictive Analytics

In this short video we look at how predictive analytics works and survey a number of uses of predictive analytics in teaching and learning technology, including learning design, user studies, identifying at-risk students, counselling and support, and student recruitment.

Module 2 - Discussion

We discussed the methods used to look at applications (ie., the uses) of analytics in teaching and learning, surveyed the broad range of them, including especially those sorts of analytics that define what is 'right' or 'normal' in society, and consider how this look at applications will inform out longer-term discussion of ethics.
